Lesson 14

Within this rehearsal we had the opportunity to rehearse in the new theatre where our set and props were already set up. This was to help us get a feel of the space we will be performing in and certain choices we’ll have to make in order for our performance to be good. Before doing a full run through we blocked the senses scene which incorporated UV lights and we were able to see how we would look on stage while this was happening. We did a run through and I was able to make notes after;

• Transitions were bad and messy
• The beginning was messy due to not everyone not being confident enough in what they are doing or making bold choices 
• We didn’t work strong as an ensemble and some of the ensemble parts such as singing was weak 
• The family scene, fellowship and goods scene was strong and you could tell there was good commitment from everyone
