Lesson 9

Today we ran through what we devised up to but began with Yoshi Oida exercise because the previous lessons when we did not start rehearsal doing this exercise,  we were very unfocused so reverted back to exercise. After the run through we came together in a circle and started discussing the negatives and positives

Notes from performance:

fellowship should set up scene in a drunk manner

Be in character when coming off stage

Family scene was really good, able to go into character very well.  franky was really able to portray her character well

Fellowship scene was funny and very nice to watch

Goods scene dance was good really committed

Robyn singing set the atmosphere beautifully

Every boy scene was very emotional because all the every mans were sad looking back at their younger self - climax of the play

Transitions need to be fixed

Ensemble knowing cue

Balance space looked clumped at times

Bolder acting needed

Commit to stamping

When God comes in and we breathe bigger gestures

Mr bright side got into lines too quick

Blocks to be brought on during fellowship scene

Out of tune low voices box tapping in fellowship scene

to end the lesson we went over the senses and qualities scene and devised any additional parts that had not been done or had to be fixed
